Manager fuckface just said he is a long way away from making Springer a 3 game per week player.

I have no idea if it's all him, or the brain trust or whoever, but this collective asshole are really really in denial.

I dont necessarily think firing Schneider will solve anything ( mostly cause it probably means Mattingly is promoted) but fuck me, do something, you useless fucking morons.

Ideally, John and Don, and Guileerrmo are fired, Demarlo Hale is interim and Matt Hague and EE are hitting enthusiast co-ordiantors
 
I mean, Springer is still signed for a few more seasons, so I can understand the team not wanting to "give up" on him. And his x-stats (xBA .252, xSLG .358, xwOBA .314) are decent enough that it is possible he could turn some of it around.

But for a guy who's 34, 35 by the end of the season, whose exit velo is down, hard hit rate is down, barrel rate is down... it's not looking good. And even if he hit at the level of those x-stats above, that's still below his offensive output from last year. He's at least not bad defensively, that's the only thing really keeping his war out of the negatives at this point.

The crazy part of that is that was going on 20 years after Jackie broke the barrier. Reminds you it took an awful long time for times to change.
 
Hilarious reading Jays Reddit. Lots of folks complaining about season seats getting jacked up in price. Not by a few hundred but by a couple grand. And the team is dog shit.

Hopefully ownership sees a downturn in renewals and kicks these cunts to the curb.
 
The Jays end June with 3 against Cleveland (3rd in MLB) 3 more against Boston (4.5 up on the Jays), and 4 against the Yankees (1st in MLB)

If they go 10-0 over that stretch, they still probably won’t be in a wildcard spot (would put them at .535 and the third wildcard is currently at .547)

Yes if they fail the testing.

I am not sure how it is treated IF he had to bring it to their attention and say. “Hey I wanna take these as prescribed by my doctor, is it safe to use for testing reasons”
