Jays will be linked to every FA bat under the sun, including nonsense reports they are mystery teams for Soto/Bregman whoever, because, the front office loves looking like they tried. They will land none of them
They will overpay a few pen arms, thinking its their biggest weakness ( its a big one) but max out at 2 year deals so they can trade them if out of it ( they will be)
There will be no Vlad extension, because risky.
The bat they do get will be less of a bat, and more of a bat with also a glove, cause versatility.
Somehow they will sign another 15M SP, cause it's their wheelhouse and have shit depth

Judge goes from regular season CMD to Gallagher in the playoffs
Dak goes from regular season Suzuki to Gallagher in the playoffs
Thornton at least was decent in the playoffs with a few very good productive years
