OT: The Toronto Blue Jays

Springer (35): 109wrc+, 1.9war/650
Roden* (25): 110wrc+, 2.2war/650
Lukes* (30): 105wrc+, 1.9war/650
Schneider (26): 103wrc+, 2.1war/650
Barger* (25): 103wrc+, 2.2war/650
Clase (23): 85wrc+, 0.5war/650
Loperfido (26): 84wrc+, 0.3war/650

And there's even interesting late season adds like 24yr old Schreck who projects as a potential league average bat too.


For me the 4OF are Varsho Springer Roden Lukes.

Two guys with iffy profiles but high upside in Schneider and Barger if they can get back on track in spring or in AAA would be next in the mix for me.

Then Clase as the younger prospect with the highest two way upside sticking in AAA until he kills it.

For me loperfido shouldn't be in the mix at all tbh. Even the eye test isn't all that great on him.
 
One of the guys who broke Springer years ago and has some cred of not being a clown at least says we signed burnes.

I for one dont believe it

He's also apparantly nailed 4 small Oilers signings in the past.

I will say, if the Jays did sign Burnes, that number makes sense.

Yeah colour me skeptical. But I would back the signing if true
 
How to you sign a guy for 250 mill but nickel and dime and drag out best hitter through the mud by his balls and won’t pay him first? Cause he doesn’t have a platinum glove? Insane.
