OT: The Toronto Blue Jays

Jays are a joke but so is baseball. They need to fix this Dodgers stacking issue too. They’ll get Sasaki as well I bet. Not good for the sport when
one team signs everyone with no restraints

NFL’s ability to cut contracts and be able to rebuild a team extremely quickly also is very favourable. There’s no 5 or 7 year plans to rebuild in that league. Draft picks can make impacts extremely quickly.

The pace of the game could be quicker still. Especially the end of the 4th quarter. But otherwise it’s fantastic.

I wish the NHL would go down to 60ish regular season games. 82 is such a long season.

All sports should do this.

Yeah, I don't mind guaranteed contracts. The NFL though shares a lot of money which balances team payrolls. NHL too obviously with the cap. MLB is crazy that you can have one player make practically as much as a whole team. The only reason OAK/MIA even spend what they do is MLB requires they put as much into payroll as they get back on revenue sharing.

MLB is not bad, in that it's on every day, it makes for a great "I'm bored let's watch a game" type of setup. Always games on, and of your miss one, who cares. But it makes each individual game pretty meaningless.
