OT: The Toronto Blue Jays

i mean fuck bunts straight to hell.

But the number of pitches they're forcing the other guys to throw with all these grinding at bats is pretty great. I love it.
Yup 50 after just three innings. And at the start of the series too. Let's kill the BP right off the bat.

Yeah, as i said, i like Roden and Wagner, especially at the bottom of the order even if the power is limited or non existent

Its the Gimenez/Kirk in the 4-6 range that im not keen on.

man Hoffman is some kinda nasty. please let his shoulder hold up for a couple years.

series split for the season split against the O's so far. all games competitive other than that opening night implosion. I'll take it.

Hoffman hasnt given me this feeling since year 1 BJ Ryan

Also, i dont care about that catch, this is the second baserunning blunder from Lukes this season. You are the 25th man my dude, gtfo if for no other reason people need to be held accountable for this shit, especially bit players.

I dont necessarily think Straw is this, but i do think he's a scrappy little fucker that will do some positive things and can be the OF4 on the bench. Assuming Springer is headed to the DL get Barger and Clase up here, and send Lukes ( who has options) down

Remove the series against the Mets where the manager threw away a game, and this team very much looks like an above average team that can hang around.

I am worried about some of the unsustainable things like Springer, and the SP, but i also assume Vladtander and Bo will find the SLG soon enough

Lukes hit much better than Barger in MLB and AAA last year. Hitting much better this year than Barger did last year.

Barger also can't field. Lukes is a pretty good defnesive CF.
