OT: The Toronto Blue Jays

Pitching development in the minors was amazing this year. It looked weak prior to, which is some combination of maybe not maximizing their process, but we also had several guys who needed TJ. Hard for guys to pitch well when they can't pitch at all. We had a great draft for pitchers last year, and several other guys stepped up and were healthy this year.

All true, and it could have very little to do with Shatkins, we could just have great scouts/farm directors
 
I understand getting a little antsy about a lack of power from Vladdy, and he had a couple of slumps for sure, but some of that criticism was just idiotic.

Shatkins deserves credit for the farm.

But it's all wishful until it's impacting winning on the big league club in one form or another. Yesavage is a nice late season surprise that they deserve credit for though, sure.
