Nah. He had a historic year, but another year where Judge went over the top to beat out the field. Would have loved to see them tie, but hard to be upset about the result. Just sucks that if Cal was in the NL he would have beaten Ohtani easily IMO.

Steib should have won the Cy Young in 1982, 1983 and 1984 and maybe finished second in 1985.

But yeah, 1982 was the worst one.

Steib should be in the HOF, he's amongst one of the biggest non PED snubs with Whitaker and Lofton

Going for Diaz is a big dick WS contender play, and i suspect that they very much are in on him, but i am always skeptical outbidding Steve Cohen, what might finally help is that the Jays are simply a better team. Dude might just want to win.

Raisel is still good, but he's way behind Diaz and Suarez, and and a bit behind Williams/Helsley/Keller, this is the half assed way to "bolstering" the pen, and he has the same HR issues as Hoffman.
