That's fair, but likely still worse than Pinango.

Regardless, let me put it this way, I'd be willing to move Barger/Pinango in a deadline deal well before i touched Parker/Nimmalla/King

Looks like people are forgetting what Badger can do and are back to sleeping on him.

Its less that, and more he's not a better asset than Parker/Nimmalla/King and we have a glut of LHH OF at the moment.

For the right deal ( Skubal, Alcantara, Abrams,) I would consider including Barger over the other three.

Unless his arm is cooked, it will still grade plus, just not elite elite.

We haven't seen a reason yet to question the long term health of his arm, this has been "inflammation" this entire time, no?

You might consider using him more at DH/3B if it can get worse this year.

The roster was a mess before Santander died and Springer might have pumpkinned.

Its really hard to manage at the moment.
 
It's early in his career, but we've seen guys "never be the same" after a particularly grand throw.

Hopefully not obviously, and no reason to think it is so, besides, I keep hearing about his ankle so wtf?
 
I always thought last year was Springer's dead cat bounce. And what a bounce! By the end, no one was questioning it.

Barger is a streaky hitter whose arm makes him an above average 3b (probably the same as Okomoto?). His lack of range makes him a poor fit in the outfield.
