Schneider ties Vladdy. Gimenez now has more than double. Jesus.
Why not bothBo >>> Devers
Overrated my ass. He’d probably be really good here.Rafael Devers has historically been a major threat against the New York Yankees, batting .269 with 123 hits, 31 home runs, and 78 RBIs across 122 regular-season and playoff games in his career. [1, 2]
His complete career hitting profile against New York breaks down as follows:
- Batting Average: .269
- Hits: 123
- Home Runs: 31
- RBIs: 78
- Runs Scored: 79
- Slugging Percentage: .533
- On-Base Percentage: .348
- OPS: .873
Should we be in on Rafael Devers if the Giants are dumping?
2025 is a little difficult with Springer in the DH spot, but going forward its a pretty easy transition

It requires Devers 3B, Oak and Springer in the OF, on the surface you probably have to trade one of Lukes/Sanchez in the deal, but i would keep at least one of them in the lineup and be giving many guys proper days off
Yeah i should have been more clear that Devers at 3B is more of a break glass emergency thing.Devers is a dogshit 3B though. He's basically a 1B/DH at this point, which I'm fine with considering how good his stick usually is, but that would be a lot of money to tie up at 1B/DH.
Adames instead pls.
The dream is Buxton, if he's willing to waive. No to Bo as well fwiw. He's not a SS, and Okamoto probably gives similar value over the next few years at 3B for like 1/3rd the money.
Our pretty obvious places to improve right now are Gimmy at SS, Varsho looks to be declining in CF right in time for free agency, so this is an ideal time to move on from that, and one actually good corner OF that can bash wouldn't kill us either.
