OT: The Toronto Blue Jays

Really looking forward to seeing Gose. Still think Snider needs to be given a shot again. It's not like he could be any worse that Davis and he could get some breathing room to settle in. The issue with management from what I read is that he's still not consistent. However, that seems a bit unfair given that he was very consistent before the injury and has only struggled during the recovery.

At least no break means if he comes back, he likely won't lose power (I know lots of other guys who break hands or wrists come back with zero power). But it could mean something bad. Hopefully just a bruise and a week of sitting is needed.

If it's a tendon issue it could take months to heal and/or may never heal properly. With a break you at least know it will heal (although it will take time).

I'm not really looking forward to see Gose. If I wanted to see him I could just watch Vegas games. There is no way in hell that Gose is going to replace Bautista's production. Bautista is impossible to replace.

If I had the option to see Bautista and watch the Jays be competitive or watch Gose, just for the sake of seeing him struggle most of the time, and have a good game here and there, clearly I take Bautista.

Snider has been struggling in AAA the last 2 or 3 weeks.

well, this was a great game that turned to poop in a real hurry. that sucked.

Excited to see what Gose can do. Hoepfully he adds a spark.

Gose does not bring as much to the table as Bautista does.

Anyways, i'm just not excited to see Gose replace Bautista. It's a major downgrade.

It was the obviousness of your statement that has people making fun of you.

Of course losing baseball's best hitter for any period of time on a team that is beset by injuries sucks balls.

This. I guess the captain doesn't have a masters degree either.

Really guys?

To clarify; it's shitty that Gose is replacing Bautista of all people. It's a shame that Bautista got hurt. I never said Gose was crappy, and I never meant to compare them directly.

Not many masters degrees around here I assume.

Simplify.

Did someone claim you said Gose was crappy ? You just made an obvious statement and we all said, duh. What are you talking about ?
