OT: The Toronto Blue Jays

Sometimes as a fan you need to accept that winning a championship is the least likely outcome of all, but still cheer for it like your life depended on it.

And hey there's enough variables to believe that they can make the playoffs and they can get healthy and/or hot and take advantage of small sample randomness to make a run. They did it last year with much of the same group of guys.

I've been a diehard fan of this team for 2 days, so I feel like my fresh approach can add something here.

yeah but he was premising it on vladdy getting back to being vladdy. every team has weak spots in the order and the jays are pretty good in those spots tbh.

They just need Vladdy and Springer back. And it looks like Springer is back.

Springer, sure could be back, but for next season i dont see the appeal bcause of roster contruction, age, and liklihood of being hurt

Okamoto has proven himself to be a very streaky player, currently he's hot, thats good.

Bateman has been fun, and a nice return for Gausman and projects as a cost efficient CF going forward, but there is no slug here.

Even with Vlad bouncing back next year, they need to address this offense with more slug, and that factors in Barger coming back as well.
