OT: What are you Watching/Listening/Drinking?

I prefer semi sweet. Super dry, turn your mouth inside out ciders are a tad much for me. No Boats on Sunday is a decent offering. Not top shelf, but passable.

Collective arts ciders are my favorite personally. Not too sweet and very crisp and refreshing. But in fairness I'm not a fan of most ciders. The good ones are really good though. Just rare.

I have the pax era and giopods. I like the pax better.

Do you use the carb on the Pax? It's brilliant.
 
Feel like most of the Ciders in Canada are too sweet. Strongbow Original Dry is probably one of the better widely available ones you can get. Magners is not too bad either.
 
Nah you're missing out. Theyre not as good as beer and I only get them because if Mrs. Preston but theres some solid ass products. Dont listen to zeke being a macho man who only has beer. He'd love ciders too. And he knows it. That's why he never tries them. And that's why he enjoys sours that are sweeter and girlier than most quality ciders.
 
yeah the only thing that prevented me from enjoying ciders in the past was my machismo.

and now I'm older and give fewer fucks. I drink fruity beers in summer now too cause they taste good. some perks of ageing I suppose.

Yeah I can only really handle a sip or two of the real fruity drinks. Fucking delicious but only in small doses. The ciders I enjoy aren't really all that sweet though. And even then, I cap out at like half a tall boy at most. Some of the collective arts sours are far sweeter than any cider I enjoy but I make an exception because they're fucking amazing. But again... half a tall boy and I'm donezo.
 
But anyway, not my preference but in the right moments it's what I crave. Quality product, though no quite as girly as zeke's sour favorites.

don't get me wrong, I don't like the sweet crap. quite the opposite.

fruity =/= sweet though :p
 
If you haven't tried Samin Nosrat's focaccia recipe I urge you all to mother fucking make it now. If theres one thing you guys need to make it's that. Please.

It's not even that much effort. Just fucking do it. It immediately made me upgrade Italian food in the power rankings.

And for the racists, it's technically not her recipe. She learned it when she lived and studied in Italy for several years. Her Netflix show and book are terrific.
