Of the 3 songs done for the Ethiopian famine in 1984, the worst by far was the US one ("We Are The World") The title of the song basically sums up the mindset of most Americans. They are the world and everyone else is just visiting.

The UK song, "Do They Know It's Christmas?" is still played every Xmas and is still hugely popular in Britain. The Canadian song "Tears Are Not Enough" isn't quite as good but it's miles better than that Michael Jackson-Quincy Jones garbage.
