OT: What are you Watching/Listening/Drinking?

Yeah, this one's right on the edge of "Mah dawg done up an' died." Having said that, I'd go to one of their gigs and prob'ly have a purty good time. 👍

Strange Trivia: this name came from an odd Monkees spoken word piece from Headquarters in 1967, where each Monkee repeated one sentence over and over.

Well, the source of the lyrical name is from a weird track by The Monkees called “Zilch”: Michael Nesmith, who died in 2021, revealed the origin of Mr. Bob Dobalina. “It was the name of a department store manager in San Antonio,” Nesmith said.

Extra Piece of Trivia: Headquarters was released on May 22 1967 and quickly went to #1. Unfortunately, it only stayed there for a week, dropping to #2 for the next 11 weeks after some other band dropped an album called Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.

Wow. That is wild. I'm definitely familiar with some of the Monkees's work. Thank you for the research! 😊👍
Added a funny piece of trivia at the end. I've always LOVED the Monkees. The show was fun and the hits are great, but they have lots of great album tracks that most people don't know as well.

Nesmith was super talented and wrote quite a few great album tracks. One of my all-time favourite songs:

This one was actually written by Micky Dolenz. Musically it sounds like a song for kids, but with sharp political lyrics (especially for the time).
