The political left the world over has a rabidly irrational fear of nuclear energy.

Insane that burning gas purchased from an expansionist imperial power that’s currently waging war on Europe and burning coal are both somehow better ideas.

Unfortunately, Russia managed to poison the well for nuclear power for generations in an extremely effective way with their idiocy at Chernobyl.

And they’ll likely poison it further by deliberately causing another nuclear catastrophe on Ukrainian soil if they’re forced to retreat from southern Ukraine.
