OT: World Politics

Peter Hansen, UNRWA's former Commissioner-General (1996–2005), caused controversy in Canada in October 2004 when he said in an interview with CBC TV:[112][113]

Oh I am sure that there are Hamas members on the UNRWA payroll and I don't see that as a crime. Hamas as a political organization does not mean that every member is a militant and we do not do political vetting and exclude people from one persuasion as against another.
We demand of our staff, whatever their political persuasion is, that they behave in accordance with UN standards and norms for neutrality.

James G. Lindsay, a former UNRWA general counsel and fellow researcher for Washington Institute for Near East Policypublished a report for WINEP in 2009 in which he criticized UNRWA practices.[93]One of his conclusions was that UNRWA is not ousting terrorists from its ranks:[93][117]

UNRWA has taken very few steps to detect and eliminate terrorists from the ranks of its staff or its beneficiaries, and no steps at all to prevent members of organizations such as Hamas from joining its staff. UNRWA has no preemployment security checks and does not monitor off-time behavior to ensure compliance with the organization's anti-terror rules. No justification exists for millions of dollars in humanitarian aid going to those who can afford to pay for UNRWA services.

In 2013 Lt. Col. (ret.) Jonathan Dahoah-Halevi, senior researcher of the Middle East and radical Islam at the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs,[118] asserted that 'the UNRWA workers union has been controlled in practice by Hamas for many years'.

i don't see a flat line for men in the us... and not sure how much that matters if the divide is that huge there to start with?

I dunno seems pretty flat to me. Heck even the german one is pretty flat over the last 10yrs. I guess i expected a more severe downturn for young men in the current social media manosphere era.

We know that age group overall is still polling Biden so guess it makes sense the men's line isn't sharply downturned.

I'm not surprised to see it's a huge divide though.

I'm a bit older than that but... this doesn't really surprise me at all. I'm out there dating and a lot of the men I meet are generally angry about politics and heavy consumers of right wing podcasters
Young men spending too much time watching Joe Rogan and internet porn and not enough time trying to be someone who a woman might consider having sex with. So many men through the years have relied on institutionalized inequality and misogyny to get laid. Now that women don't have to sleep with men in order to have security or prosperity, they can afford to be more choosey, which means all those mediocre white guys you see at Trump rallies can't get laid.
