OT: World Politics

John Kerry was right when he said the US needed to take “police action” against Al Queda and the Taliban after 9/11. Instead, Dumbo and Cheney got into never ending wars (killing an untold number of civilians and wasting a huge amount of US blood and treasure) and failed nation building that ultimately led to the rise of ISIS and empowered Iran.

So, thumbs up to going after the leadership. Yes. I just wish it hadn’t come at such a brutal cost to civilians lives and infrastructure. I think there will be revenge for this, and it will be against soft targets in the West. Not Israel.
 
Not being talked about a lot right now, but it sure looks like the regime in Cuba is in the middle of a slow motion collapse.

Electricity went out tonight for 10 million Cubans tonight. China has halted economic assistance to the regime, and their 2 other patrons both have bigger problems taking up budget space.
