The article is behind a pay wall. What exactly are you trying to show with it anyway? Israel has provided food and aid. Hamas routinely steals it and threatens and kills Palestinians who try to get to it.

So the article is saying the UN can do it better? Go for it. I don't know why Israel is feeding a population who largely support Hamas and the destruction of their country anyway.

You know when we talk about all of those weird externalities that decisions can generate? This is one of those. Iran is next door neighbours with Iraq. They've seen what regime change freedom looks like, up close and personal. It looks like civil war, it looks like puppet governments, it looks like a deeply corrupt government tilting towards authoritarianism.

The US deciding Saddam had to go has put them in a position where Iranians (who don't like their government much at all fwiw) would rather cling to what they have than go through what they've watched their neighbours go through over the last 20 years.

Yeah. How the fuck is he going to spend all of that money after he wins?

I mean, it's not enough to buy a house or a supercar with. But too much where just a nice vacay or a rolex feels like enough of a celebration. Don't be a boring motherfucker and buy a new patio furniture set or some shit. Gotta ball out at least a little bit.
