He's fine as long as it's a HW stiff who stands in front of him and kick boxes. Francis is not a wrestler, he learned just enough wrestling to not get abused again by Stipe...who is also not a wrestler...and Francis wrestle fucked the shit out of Gane. Francis laid the road map out for anyone who wants to beat Gane. Drag him to the ground and he's got nothing, literally as close to nothing as any contender level fighter I've ever seen. Jones barely broke a sweat.
 
Jones will continue winning at heavyweight by default. I mean, the division is a barren wasteland.

I'd be much more interested in watching Jon Jones fight Jamahal Hill, Jiri Prochazka or Magomed Ankalaev.

Jon Jones has been inactive for so long that he only has wins against two of the current top-15 at Light Heavyweight: Dominic Reyes (who might get cut) and Anthony Smith (who's near the end).
 
MMA is a cruel bitch. I don't think Leon's that good at all personally, but Usman looks like a fraction of what he was even 2 years ago. His knees look completely cooked and he was never the smoothest, most mobile guy in there.
 
The main event was one of those fights that was just... meh.

Usman clearly isn't what he used to be, and shit, how could you expect him to be? Prize fighting is a young man's game and he's a 35 year old wrestler with shabby knees, not to mention all the ring time he's gotten over the years. He'll go down as the second best WW ever, and that's a hell of an accomplishment.

At the same time, though, just the variety of new match-ups that are created because Leon's the champ is exciting. Leon against any one of Covington, Masvidal/Burns winner, Rahkmonov, Belal, all of those are fun fights.

Doesn’t deserve it - Dana has to stop rewarding people for sitting on their spot. How you take a great division in 155 and take the excitement away due to lack of movement for new guys to come through.

He might be. The one thing that I found worrisome for him in the Geoff Neal fight was his willingness to get hit.

Makes for fantastic fights, don't get me wrong. But 170's got some thumpers, man. If he can improve his striking defense a little... watch out.
