Playoff GDT | Eastern Conference Finals | Game #3 | Monday - 5/25/26 8:00 PM EST (Canes vs Habs)

Amazingly bad. MSL will use that to convince himself that nothing needs changed.
agreed.....almost prefer to get blown out, to wake everyone up.....like Canes were blown out 6-2 in game 1 and it woke them up

human nature.....watch MSL tell everyone ''Suzy scores in OT and we have a different discussion, Matheson scores in OT and we have a different discussion''

We had chances to steal it, but unfortunately it was more of game 2. No adjustments. Compete is there, but we need to be sharper, tighter, shorter passes, stronger on the puck. Maybe fatigue, I dunno, we’re better than this. But Carolina deserved those last 2.

canes having two weeks of rest showed up tonight

Of course....Matheson speaking to journalists now: ''je pense qu'on a généré beaucoup offensivement''

Say again ??? We generated a lot more offense this game....really ?

Well, he scored a goal and hit iron twice!!

Again Matheson in French at the postgame scrum: ''if we keep working at it, we will breakthrough''

I guess that's what MSL told the boys after the game.....which means no game adjustments from coaching going forward....lol

in contrast, Canes players came out and admitted they needed to play differently, so did their coach after game 1

yes sure.....but both their wins went to OT.....for a team that buzzed all around Habs for past 2 games, they sure don't know how to score much....all that puck possession should result in 4-5 goals....
I was thinking that. That was their issue late in the playoffs other years, and at some point it probably will be again. They may be no better than previous recent editions of the Hurricanes in that regard.

But our Habs, the team of 12 shots, may not be the one to take them out. And there is no Florida this year.

They are so focused on defence, they forget to create enough chances offensively, which makes it easier on Carolina. Need a boost of offensive creativity….. what’s the health status of Patrick Laine?
