yeah odd as it sounds, most of their shots are from way out, they go around in circles but do little. If not for an inch offside, we are talking about how to strangle them out tomorrow

I don't think outplayed is the right term here....Canes are just shooting from everywhere.....but they haven't had that much more scoring chances than Habs.

But our forwards are doing the minimum to help the d-men....Evans, Slaf, even Suzy have been weak with clearing the d-zone......and Cole often leaves the zone too fast hoping for the outlet breakway pass....that's Habs style of play, but gotta maybe stay a bit longer to help the dmen instead.

Yeah I think we've been doing a decent job at containing them to the outside, but the main issue is turnovers, when we manage to retrieve the puck we're too soft and slow to move it out the zone, giving it right back to them and extending zone time for no reasons, and it's been mostly on our forwards.
