I thought our PP created better chances than them. We collapse the box to take away the back door and they had nothing but long shots and we were clearing the rebounds well. Not sure if they created one dangerous scoring chance all game.

I thought TBay had numerous, Danault goal line save, game winner, and many others Dobes froze or were cleared in desperation.

Now I can name.exactly how many Haba had…. ONE when Gallagher crashed the crease on Vasilevskiy’s glove side

They are definitely checking off all the “learning” boxes….

Tampa had to go through this for many years before they won their 2 Cups….they even got swept by Columbus one year when they were the heavy favourites

My fear is that the longer the series goes, the more likely it is that he will eventually take over a game. Vasilevsky did it in game 6.

They held the puck in for practically the full two minutes on some of theirs. We are on the outside when we have the puck in their zone, slowly looking for the perfect pass, or else are turning to retrieve the puck from our zone. At times this year our power play has been brilliant, when we are moving it quicker. More of that is needed.

Yeah, that stayed with me all night. ........they make the ice look smaller, all their players are closer to our net. They look more dangerous, even if it doesn't result in more goals.We seem miles from the goal, and aren't going to beat that goalie from over there. Trying for the seam pass constantly is tiresome and frustrating when it doesn't work.

i like that Hutson is shooting it more from the point on the PP….he gets closer and winds-up a shot…need more of this, because his teammates are trying to be too fancy on the PP

Slaf often has the puck on the side of the net, and should try crossing in the crease for a chance. Caufield with his smaller size tries this way more than Slaf. You’d think Slaf would try this more often with his size and great hands…most of the time Tampa players leave the slot open because they know Habs ALWAYS send it back to Demi or Suzi along the boards

He was right, the Lightning only have one more game this year.
 
I'm still disappointed and nervous for this one. If they blow the series after leading it’ll feel like stagnation even though it’s better than last year.
