He got into a fist fight with roommate Mario Tremblay during a road trip. But at least when the Habs traded Pete they got a 50 goal scorer in return, unlike what they got in return for Patrick Roy when he had a tete-a-tete with Tremblay years later.
 
When Little M was center Guy and Steve joked that they were called the donut line because they did not have a center.. remember Little M was a puck hog.. Pete answered the Donut Line with saying it was more like the Helicopter Line as it had no wingers..
