Summer 2015 Transfer Thread

Multiple media outlets are reporting that the paperwork did not get to the La Liga offices before the deadline so the deal is off. Man U insists that they loaded the proper papers to FIFA's transfer matching system before the deadline.

Clubs are so stupid at times leaving stuff so late.

Reports in Spain claim United were responsible for the deal collapsing.

The line is that they did not get their paperwork to Spanish Football Federation headquarters until a minute after the 23:00 BST deadline.

In their defence, United say they have a receipt that proves they submitted the relevant documents in time.

First deal of deadline day appears to be done.

Sky Sports & BBC both reporting that Alex Song has (re)joined West Ham on a Season long Loan.

Victor Moses has signed a new 4 year deal with Chelsea.......... and been loaned off to West Ham.

Could make any move for Emmanuel Adebayor by West Ham tricky.

PL clubs can only have 2 domestic loan deals and West Ham now have Moses & Jenkinson.

So Adebayor & Spurs would need to work out some payoff for the last year of his deal there to facilitate any move to West Ham.

If Spain's deadline was yesterday, how can they still transfer?

Hammers wanted a permanent deal but Spurs and others jumped in late.

Villa have a personal terms agreement with Joleon Lescott and he has passed a medical but West Brom are fighting the transfer terms. Probably a late day deal if it goes through. God knows they need some help in the back.

Villa were reported to be close on Adebeyor before West Ham got their foot in, and are now reported to be closing in on Berbatov. He's a free agent so if he agrees on a deal, it's done. And again ... God knows they need some help up front too.

Not sure either of these two past their prime players are the answer for anything ... but they're still better than they guys they'd be replacing.

BBC reports the Lescott deal is complete with a fee that could rise to 2 million pounds. They also report that Villa have ended their pursuit of Berbatov and Adebayor.

Glenn Murray moves from Crystal Palace to Bournemouth. Good signing for the Cherries, if for no other reason than to mentor Callum Wilson.

No big suprises so far, all the deals done had been muted for at least the last 24 hours

Great video on Sky Sports just now

Nathan Dyer being Helicoptered into Leicester on the owners Helicopter to get his medical done in time.

Man Utd confirm the signing of Anthony Martial.

£36 mill is the initial fee with the potential of that to raise significantly based on unknown targets.

Never quoted a player tweet before but here goes........

Saido Berahino

Sad how i cant say exactly how the club has treated me but i can officially say i will never play Jeremy Peace.

So not best pleased about WBA turning down a 3rd and 4th offer from Spurs today then.
