David Carle's story is pretty remarkable too. I remember his draft year and I was hoping we'd draft him.

Pre-draft medical test, they find him to have a bad heart and he has to retire from playing hockey.

If he becomes a right-handed version of Guhle then it's a good pick (minutes eater who doesn't put up a lot of points). Also, hope they both get through early career injury proneness.

Oh I know. Even after the new Port Mann was built, nothing really changed. But I moved from Guildford to Newton and didn't take the Port Mann anymore. I had to line up for the rickety old Patullo.
