yah I tried out some of the others, like spoutible and mastodon, but never even bothered with threads. didn't see the point. still don't.

I’ve never had Instagram, so needing to sign up for that and also not being able to limit your feed to people you follow made it a non-starter for me.

The only other Twitter alternative I tried aside from BlueSky was Mastadon, but I found it confusing as hell and a complete nightmare to use.
