do we know who owns bluesky? seems like that will become pretty relevant pretty soon, if not already
I thought the idea was that that was the endpoint, but that we are pretty far away from that, no?one of the core building blocks of bluesky is that every user does or can own and keep their own data. users can host all their own data on their own servers, and all data is 100% portable if any new owners try any shenanigans.

if you mean are there other places to migrate TO yet.....i think you're right. but i think the idea is that it would be much easier to set up a similar site independently going forward, especially since all of bluesky's stuff is open source already.
