Crazy how quickly the little guys ate that concept up like they're the ones getting screwed by government regulations.

They're also the ones fond of calling the rest of us "sheep"
 
Also funny that their government-free currency behaves just like a stock and spikes and plummets directly on government actions.

I sold my puts at the close on Friday — and felt really bad about it because the market kept falling post close as more bad news came out.

Now I feel relief, but it’s really become unenjoyable to know that nothing matters more than the latest Trump tweet…. I’d like to hold trades for longer periods of time but it’s tough to stomach

Couldn't imagine holding a trading position after Friday close in this environment. How could you possibly unwind and enjoy your weekend without being hyper aware of everything that dickhead posts on truth?

Mexico, long considered a financial basket case, a risky place to put your money, etc, shut down a bank this week that has been caught laundering money for one cartel or another (or multiple, dunno, details are sparse right now). Despite it being zomg Mexico, so risky....all deposits in CI Banco are insured up to just over 3.4 million pesos per account (~210K USD), so not dissimilar at all than our FDIC. Finding the details for how to claim the money from your accounts has been easy, and payouts have being taking 48-72 hours once your claim is in.

Casino vs Regulated Financial Markets, and it's not a hard choise regarding where the majority of your money should be even if you're a crypto enjoyer.
