Again - as bluesky gets more popular remember that the real reason you should prefer bluesky is that it's the only social media app whose actual blueprint and MO is to ensure there are no algos running your feeds. The only algos are the ones you put in place yourself by managing your feeds. Otherwise it's built to be entire organic engagement. You can even host all your data yourself and not on bluesky servers if you want.
Fingers crossed that the way it's built a) deals with the trolls effectively and b) makes it useless for the grifter engagement accounts (even the lib ones).
The only thing Blueski is missing for me so far is the large sports media and sports teams/league accounts. Right now there's some good bots that auto repost stuff like the nhl official account, elliotte, shams, etc. from their twitter but obviously it only becomes real when they do it themselves.
I agree it’s sorta lacking in reputable hockey sources so far but my feed seems to be all nerds/experts in certain fields that will probably come in handy in the next four years.
And they seem like real people instead of @JimmyJohnPatriot683652 with a blue check mark.
