I love the people who try to say that they bought the cyber truck before Elon lost his mind. Deliveries didn't start until nov 2023.

And workplace adoption of AI is already stagnant or decreasing as companies realize it's not just unproductive but often counterproductive.

It’s a winner take all scenario. A lot of money was lit on fire during the dot com mania. 99% of the companies went bust but the 1% that survived are basically monopolies now.
I think some big names we take for granted now will get killed
AI always blows the mind of people with demonstrations when it's in an industry that they themselves don't work in. As soon as you're an expert in something and actually try it's basically like googling something, but faster.
With caveats of course for certain industries which are just fucked, like law clerks, certain types of graphic designers and copy writers.
Still very hopeful for that it can do in the research world.
