I'll post the crap show that will be Friday night...
We're rollin 20 deep into the HSBC arena for the leafs game. Deal and a half
for 180 bucks we get a room at the four points Sheraton in Niagara... a party at the Keg before the game with free hors douvres, a limo bus ride to and from the game with free beer.. and a ticket to the game.
The crew I'm going with is head by these three scottish brothers that all grew up playin Rugby... let's just say I hope we don't get arrested.

Good god, I think you are more obsessed with the Leafs than I am. Never thought I would see that. Floydian came close though.

I'm considering a Charlie Conacher or Syl Apps Sr. jersey next but with the new thirds that are out from the 1967 season I might go with a George Armstrong instead.

That's a beauty Jays. I used to play shinny with a guy that rocked a Barilko jersey, and I've always thought it's one of the coolest ideas for a customized Leaf jersey.
Armstrong would also definitely be another great choice. I'd also like to get one of the 80's era Leaf jerseys with Wendel's name on it.

My tennis coach goes windsurfing with the grandson of Conacher all the time. Lucky prick. I dunno that is a pretty big, big three. I wouldn't know which one to go with.
But I think the Barilko is the coolest, I might just go out and get one. Its way cool for sure. We could start a trend. Lol.

Thank you, sir. It's unconventional that's for sure. I once had someone ask me at a game if that was my last name and had to resist an urge to do a major facepalm given that, had he simply lifted his head upward a little bit, he would have seen the number retired in the rafters.
Plus The Tragically Hip wrote a freaking song about the man! Four Stanley Cups in five years, a league-leader in penalties. Come on, man!
Wendel is always a classic. Works well for any era, but the 1980s style with the white sleeves and blue mid-section with the white Leaf is the best style IMO.
The Conachers are just a fantastic sporting family. One could say that genetics play a big role in sporting prowess and athleticism and they would be one of the textbook examples for that. All great athletes starting with Lionel and Charlie. Great genetics all-around coupled with the legendary Irish temper.
