IMO this is finally the year we get scoring from the bottom 6 in the playoffs.

I think the key here is that we're not really talking about "lineup fit" but only "4th line fit". And Hunt is probably behind both ZAR and Joey for now even for that role. And that's even with Robertson still injured.

It may even just be that they think Hunt is more likely to clear waivers than Malgin was so they can stash him on the Marlies and if we need more scoring fill ins it gives us a chance to give guys like Steeves and Gaudette a look.

Not sure I totally get it but I haven’t gotten a bunch of moves that have turned out fairly well so… I guess we’ll see
ultimately I cannot really get upset at any move where the only thing we give up is Geno Malgin. so hopefully Hunt works out, and if not, not like we're really much behind where we started

I don’t give two shits about losing Malgin. But I hope this Hunt dude doesn’t start dressing regularly.

This shows a level of hustle that we've been missing since the early Babcock years when we were still trying to establish ourselves. That sort of thing can turn momentum, turn the opposition's shift into a double or triple load, and the toughness is not to be discounted because we get pushed around a lot, especially in the playoffs. We don't need fights, but we do need hits and making life difficult. I don't know if he can deliver this shit consistently, as if he can I don't know why the Avs would want to give it up for kinda nothing.

It's nice and all, but if that's a guys career highlight I wouldn't get too pumped.
