Schenn is clearly better than Holl....in experience alone and in his ability to use his body to hit people....something Holl has not figured out.

I am still digesting the earlier trade — how often do two $8M dmen get traded for one another? Weber/Subban was the last time I think.

Justin Holl is a top 4 defender on one of the top 5 defences in hockey. Luke Schenn was a bottom pairing defender on one of the worst 5 defences in hockey.

This isn't hard.

Sandin trade was good asset management; no room for him on our blue line and Lilly has outplayed him IMO

Engvall was a good cap dump

Schenn trade is pointless unless Holl is going next
