And I'm pretty sure that the Leafs pair there is the only that gets true top matchup and dzone start usage. Though maybe that Gudas pair does too.

The last 2 pairs there are pure soft usage bottom pairing.

Don't mind seravelli writing that article tbh. Thr Leafs are the excuse but he could have also titled it "interesting goalies available to any team looking for a goalie".

Actually, on second thought Murray for Riems.

Reimer should’ve been the guy they targeted ahead of Murray all along.

Though in fairness, it’s also possible that Reimer and his wife are happy in low-pressure, sunny California and want nothing to do with a return to Toronto.

I mean it's not as funny as this article:

I like how the whole dumb article is about who the Leafs would have to GIVE them. Hmm, Kerfoot, Holl? Like Jack requires payment. Idiot doesn’t realize that any trade would have to be 10x the Murray trade with 4.9 years left on that deal. And I doubt there’s any payment they can give us short of one of their best players and taking Murray that would ever work. Who wants an already mentally fragile goalie who now can’t stop a puck?

Man, just when you think OilChange reporters have reached peak lunacy, they come out with something like this.

Yes, mere months after choosing to not offer Campbell a contract for anything close to what he got from Edmonton and after eight games of .870 goaltending from Jack (and .920 goaltending from one of the goalies they replaced Jack with), the Leafs must be desperate to take Jack’s entire contact off Edmonton’s hand, and give up actual useful assets off the NHL roster to do it.

Buyer’s remorse is a bitch dude. Best get used to it instead of desperately hoping for a bailout.

Send Hyman and Jack back, both 50% retained, and take Murray, and maybe I get intrigued enough to start a conversation. But even then I probably want their 1st just for good measure.

Gotta say it's extra delicious that literally just last week Oiler Nation was ripping on the leafs and gloating and offering sage advice as to where the Leafs went wrong, and here just days later the Leafs are ahead of them again despite the fact that the Oilers' top forwards (and Skinner) have gone supernova to start the season.

This is pure BS. Slow news day.

You might as well start a McDavid trade with 50% retention.

Coincidence that we're 2-0 with Lilly back and looking like our old selves?

Coincidence that we're 2-0 with Lilly in and Kallgren played 1.33 of those games? Hmm.
