The Fucking Season Thread - Redemption Tour '22

Nothing was better than reading Bruins and Ducks fans analysis of Ritchie. Nothing.

Glad we got to experience him too.

OMG they are still using the "Leadership" nonsense in regards to Keith given the mess they are in.

And the Canadian media just eats up the "Leadership" horseshit. Dubas grabbed a far better leader and player for NHL minimum last 3 years

Well it didn't mean anything. What meant more is that he's horrible and was always horrible and it was never a secret. I'm not surprised that this was his fate.

His recollection of things in Chicago and his views on the vaccine and his terrible play tell me they were better without him

With Dallas out and Klingberg reportedly asking for a trade I looked at the roster to see what else may be available.

Radulov is on the last year of his deal. Wonder what he would cost.

Radulov is a pain the ass to play against and is a pretty good playoff performer. might be a sneaky great add.

Radulov from a few years ago would be a great add. But through 29 games this year, he’s got as many goals as Mimsy. And 12 points total.

So, uhh…no thanks on that one.

Produced well last season and all before that. Did he die this year or is dallas just terrible

Well, sure, but he only played 11 games last season. And in 19/20, he had only 34 points in 60 games. That's not terrible (46-point pace), but it's far from being worth a 6.25M cap hit or ponying up for retention in order to fit him in, especially when you factor in what I guess were injury problems last year, and his production falling off a cliff this season.

Depends on acquisition cost.

Aim higher. 101 is right; if you want someone from Dallas, Pavelski is the guy. Don't make the same Nick Ritchie or Foligno mistake. If you're gonna make a move get a clear upgrade. They have enough middle six or bottom line depth already.

Isn't Klingberg basically a Tyson Barrie clone?

Not sure why we'd need that when Rielly's having his best offensive season in a few years, we have Sandin to put on the second power-play unit, and we've finally got three strong defense pairings.
