Standing room tix @ centre ice at the very back of the rink used to be like $40 and I used to go all the time. Like BG said, really awesome for seeing the whole play develop.

I've sat on the glass before, it was a cool experience but not as good for seeing the play.

Maybe. But does anyone know when the last time was that the team that won the cup didn’t trade its first rounder?

Just want to know if we’ll be the first to have done that in a while.
 
Good question. All I know is no team has made the Cup Final in a while without Corey Perry in their lineup
 
I think I'd prefer the Lightning over Boston - if only to avoid a stupid Sunday afternoon playoff game.
 
I know we've said this in anger at times here and I've seen a bunch of people say it on twitter, but I don't think I see Dubas' job being in jeopardy if we lose to Tampa.
 
I can't see Dubas getting fired unless Jack has a meltdown and LOFs favourite backup is called on to save the day (and fails)

Even then, KD probably survives. His achilles heel (if he has one) is not fully addressing what happens between the pipes.
 
If the last two years didn't happen most wouldn't think twice about a tight series loss to Tampa. But it is what it is. The core put themselves in a situation where there's a lot of pressure on them in a far more difficult situation than the last two years. And rightfully so tbh. They made their bed.

The Leafs getting fucked by their goaltending in a first-round loss is probably the one circumstance in which I’d want to see Dubas get immediately shit-canned.
 
.. we need some weird quasi-science, backwoods witchcraft theory of winning that we can sell to these guys. Some kind of weird ritual they all have to perform before the game, or some blood-coloured liquid to drink on the bench to fuck with the other team.
