He played a game with Muzzin and looked a lot better than he has with fellow rookie Sandin.

Even paired with Dermott would be a better spot for him IMO.
 
Thought Semy looked great in preseason and what little of the Marlies I've seen. Surprised he got bumped down.

Preston sees deeper. Human beings are powerful, especially when they connect to God. We all have a mission. So does Simmonds.
 
Its also kind of hilarious how much attention is being given to an inspirational 1st intermission speech in the 8th game of the season. That Rocky moment that led the team to squeak out a glorious overtime victory to the worst team in the league, missing their best players, playing under the shadow of the biggest sexual abuse scandal the NHL has ever seen.

A real win one for the Gipper moment.
