The Fucking Season Thread - Redemption Tour '22

Robertson-Tavares-Nylander: 22:34, 57.76 CF%, 60.54 xGF%

Kerfoot-Tavares-Nylander: 63 CF/60, 2.81 xGF/60, 55.94 CA/60, 2.61 xGA/60
Robertson-Tavares-Nyalnder: 76.48 CF/60, 4 xGF/60, 55.49 CA/60, 2.59 xGA/60

He adds a little something offensively to that line.

Doing nothing less than I expected from him with his track record, just need a little patience. It’d be quite awesome if he never looks back now that he’s been given this opportunity because I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re hoping for Bunting/Robertson next season and Robertson/Knies when Bunting’s contact is up.

But on the other hand;
I think I agree with whoever mentioned about showcasing Robertson.
But I think it is the leafs who are trying to decide if he should stay or go for trade purposes.
Robertson may have all the tools but am element of luck is also needed and this young man has not shown alot of that.
Dallas loves their Robertson, and Dubas apparently love Klingberg.

I agree with your assessment HL, but dubas has shown the tendancy to over pay for deadline additions.

Gonna be hard to keep muzzin out all year if he's already on the ice.

And I wonder who comes out of the lineup for Kase.

Dubas could probably get away with it but you never know when the league is going to step in and "make an example" of Toronto

Yeah, that was embarrassing.

There was no need for a fucking press conference. Provide the explanation and move on.

Dubas is a pussy no balls bitch? No way! Never would have guessed!

"On behalf of the entire organization, we would like to apologize to everyone everywhere for the pain and trauma caused by the slur that Morgan did not say. We all have a responsibility to think about how our words sometimes sound similar to other words when picked up from a microphone hanging 30 feet above ice-level."

Yeah I don’t think lack of balls is really a theme in Dubas’ tenure either. Basically the entire hockey world was saying “keeping the core together won’t work, it’s not possible” and he went ahead and did it anyway which takes a certain amount of balls.

I could maybe do with a little more slime/“cheating” though if it means keeping up with the Jones’ in Tampa.

i'm not sure Dubas' track record lacks ballsy moves, dummies.

I don't think anyone doubts he's willing to make big moves. It's whether he's willing to bend the rules to take advantage of this loophole/grey area/whatever you want to call it.

If Robertson can step in and contribute then the forward lines are pretty damn good.

Bunting-Matthews-Marner
Robertson-Tavares-Willy
Kerfoot-Spezza-Kase
Mikheyev-Kampf-Engvall
That C position is ironically our Achilles heel, especially if Tavares has trouble regaining his touch this year, and most assuredly if either he or Matty gets injured or, and it’s happened, go cold at the same time. Gotta get a real top six center to play on the third line, push Spezza to the side.
