It was irresponsible to rush him back really.
Pretty confident Dubie is on record saying that his current ailment is not conky related, and he recovered from his conky symptoms. He came back for four games and now can’t do a couple drills without being hunched over. I don’t really think the suggestion he could’ve used more time after his second concussion of the year is all that crazy.
I can guarantee that any veteran defenceman ever will have enough bumps/bruises/strains that they play through on a nightly basis, that no pretending would ever be needed. Which is why Robidas Island is so effective for cap purposes.wait are people still upset we didn't force Muzz to pretend he was injured for longer than he was? is that what is going on here?
hey thanks palPretty confident Dubie is on record saying that his current ailment is not conky related, and he recovered from his conky symptoms.
Plus, the only poster on this board that is qualified to have an opinion here is Dr. Preston anyways
It seems like folks just want to gloss over the 'force a healthy player to pretend to be injured' part that is required.

that is not the FI wayIf it's not concussion related, I stand corrected. Hadn't heard that.

Three games removed from his return to the ice following his second concussion of the season, Toronto Maple Leafs defenceman Jake Muzzin will sit out of the team’s next game on Tuesday at home to the Buffalo Sabres.
“He’s dealing with some right now not related to what he just returned from but he’s dealing with something again,” Maple Leafs head coach Sheldon Keefe said following practice on Monday. “He’s less than 100 per cent here and needs a couple of days to settle down a little bit. He’s not going to play tomorrow, but we’re hopeful and expecting he’ll be available after that.”
don't apologize; I legitimately really enjoy your posts!Dude's 80 years old, injury prone, and coming off back to back conky's. A little time off for stem cell injections and extra naps might have refreshed him for the playoffs and freed up some cap space, is all I'm saying. But I get it, no one has ever taken a single second longer than the minimum medically required to heal their brain trauma.
I'm sure we'll get a solid 2 or 3 games out of him in round 1!
edit: I actually want to sincerely apologize for bringing this up again.
