Same thing would have happened in Toronto of course. 1st/2nd rounder for an aging goalie with a brutal quality start percentage throughout his career in the playoffs that most recently blew the series against the Habs never made any sense to me... And oh yeah, he seems to have declined this year too. It's Jack or bust. It always was. Why would the Leafs spend a 1st or 2nd for a guy that's likely just gonna sit on the bench all playoffs? That's brutal asset management.

Yeah, this current iteration of the Leafs definitely induces goalie PTSD, and that's not entirely fair to Jack as Freddie is the one who planted the seed & nurtured that shit 4 playoffs in a row. One of them just needs to step up and do it.
