The Good The Bad & The Ugly - Round 1 Game 1 - Sens vs Habs

Chris Johnston ‏@reporterchris · 5m5 minutes ago
Mark Stone says P.K. Subban should be suspended. "There was some intent there."

And the whining from Ottawa starts.

We also got into Hammond's head. We'll see if he bounces back. He hasn't had to face much adversity all year.

He was flopping around all night and obviously has trouble tracking the puck when we're behind the net.

Also puts himself out of position alot when he has to mive laterally

he wasn't "hot", that's for sure, Those guys need him to be.

Good: We won... Refs tried to **** us in the ass, and we still won.

Bad: Reffing. Attrocious.

Ugly: Stone rolling around like a bitch... Came back 30 seconds later and played the rest of the game... even was throwing punches at the end... and its the habs who have the reputation as divers. Reminds me of Riberio in 2004

That was the craziest, weirdest, most entertaining, most ridiculous Habs game of the year.

By the way, for Sal, the analytics showed that from the second period on, the Habs were clearly the better team, led by the bottom two lines. First period it was all Sens.

Plekanec will get destroyed this series by Turris unless adjustments are made.

Hopefully MaxPac is ready to go at 100% in game 2 and we never see "possession friendly" PAP ever again in a Habs uni.

GTFO PaP and then buy him out in the summer

Totally agree.

I said it last night on the podcast and I'll say it again now. Hammond = FRAUD.

Teams will figure him out now... they have time to look at the video instead of playing a new team every other night in the regular season. Habs have broken him down... Habs were looking stick side all night long.

Yup when Flynn gets 3 points and we lose our best D and Price didn't stand on his skull and we win , PRICELESS

Ellen again shows up, DSP, Flynn, Mitchell, show up, there's not such thing as clutch or character.

"possession friendly" PAP nowhere to be seen...correct that I saw him, on his fcukin ass all game long, never engaging contact.

Habs were in control for much of the 3rd. Of course, if the opposite had occurred, Therrien's system would get most of the blame.

Everything went wrong. Everything.

But they won. Veeeeeeeeeery good.

Small note: JdLR was nervous, but settled in the third and played during the last two minutes.

Bottom 6 won this game tonight. DLR will be better Friday, he looked uncharacteristically rattled tonight...
