1.125 Million this year, I don't think you have to worry about it. With how tight Mitchy has made our cap this season, I don't see Dubas watching an extra 400K in cap space sit on the bench with a baseball cap on every night.
 
Even at 50% of his $3.4M cap hit, we wouldn't be able to afford Reimer.

So fortunately, because of that there's zero chance zeke's one true love returns here.

zeke has odd blinding love affairs with certain things.

While I always have a soft spot for Reimer, it doesn't make me soft in the head. The guy has not been very good for a while now and has a relatively massive cap hit. Besides, this might help to sink the Canes season -- why take that away from them?

Yeah, I have a soft spot for Reimer too. I was on #TeamReimer back in the day.

But he is what he is at this point. An OK platoon/backup goalie who has an unfortunate habit of either getting injured or having his play fall to pieces whenever his team has the most dire need for him to take the reins in net.

And he's paid like a mid-tier starter to boot. So he really just isn't an option for this team.
 
So our captain looks to have a pre-trail conference tomorrow in Scottsdale

Not sure what he did but it looks as though he was charged with disorderly conduct in late July

the charge is a Chatper 29 A1 according to the Arizona penal code - A. A person commits disorderly conduct if, with intent to disturb the peace or quiet of a neighborhood, family or person, or with knowledge of doing so, such person:1. Engages in fighting, violent or seriously disruptive behavior; or
 
Lots of chatter but I really hope the one about him losing his pants in a fight is true.
