I'm trying to hang tough and pretend I believe that every single one of these rumors are false. But it's hard. Because deep down I know some are probably true. It all sounds like everything dubas has done and would have done this summer. I was hoping for something more fresh than this.

I spent a good long while convincing myself that the media like usual didn’t have a clue what was going on inside the organization, and that all the rumours about Treliving being the presumptive GM were a joke.

Well…we know how that turned out.

So now I take it as gospel that Matthews will sign a 2x14.5M contract, Willy will get traded, Kerfoot will be re-signed long-term for more money and Reaves will get a classic bloated Treliving “4th liner winning the lottery” type contact.
