Leafs must always pay 5 times what others teams do
lol why do people coddle this guy so much.
One name that hasn’t been mentioned is Kings right winger Adrian Kempe. According to an industry source who requested anonymity, the 24-year-old Kempe has been heavily scouted by the Leafs. At six-foot-two and 200 pounds, he would come with a $2-million (U.S.) salary-cap hit this year and next before restricted free agency.
Hey Folks,
Just saw this rumour out of The Star: https://www.thestar.com/sports/leaf...l-granlund-on-their-trade-deadline-radar.html
I had him on my Hockey Fantasy team this early this year, in fantasy, they had him playing ALL the forward positions. Young, RFA and cheap. Is he any good? Seems to be an averagey player with some upside?
honestly now it is just comical to me.The list of excuses some people throw out for this guy is pretty incredible.
If he’s not 100% healthy (how many players are in the middle of an NHL season), if he doesn’t have a fat long-term contract extension, if he’s not the unquestioned starter, if fans and media aren’t mean to him, if he gets enough rest, if he isn’t so rested that he gets rusty, etc, etc.
At what point do these fucking dummies pull out Occam’s Razor and just come to the conclusion that he’s just not a good goalie at this stage of his career?
honestly now it is just comical to me.
the cognitive dissonance required to ignore the fact that Jack is also battling injury, yet undefeated...
anything to avoid complimenting the Leafs D
the logical pretzels are only gonna get better methinksit was pretty funny on saturday night (i think) when the panel so quickly and easily and unanimously said Montreal's defense was better, even though they also say montreal's goaltending is better, all while the leafs let in fewer goals.
part of a package?
