The New Division

I'm not worried. Even being bad at math I know teams have a better chance to win with .940 vs. .818. Just barely though.

I'm not forgetting about those, but it's the text book definition of the word 'myopic' when you ignore the previous 165 elimination minutes played previous to those 15.

except for that one play at first base, bill buckner had a pretty good WS.

you realize how stupid that statement is?

did reimer let one in from centre or something?

I was thinking the same thing.

Giving up 3 goals in 10 minutes is not necessarily a choke. Sometimes goals are shots that should go in. There just happened to be 3 of them in a relatively short time. I wouldn't put that on Reimer as much as the D as a whole.

Considering the Leafs board was all over the fact that Rask choked (for letting in two goals) in the finals...I think Reimer is being fairly classified here.

None of the goals Reimer let in were "bad" goals. On a good day, does he stop 1 or 2 of them? Probably. But he's not the main reason for the collapse. Anyone with two eyes could see that.

Insanely stupid...Bill Buckner went 6 for 32 in that world series, with an OPS of .400

Not only did he really, really suck in the playoffs for Boston, he blew the biggest moment of the series for them. ****, without him being abysmal through the entire playoffs, maybe they out the Mets in 5.

Reimer is hardly the only guy that choked. It was a team effort.

The Leafs showed that they roll over and die when times get tough.

The amount of chirping you people think is justified by beating a team with multiple players that can't ride the big boy roller coasters at Canada's Wonderland.

What happened when your Sens played a real hockey team? Out in 5.

We just happened to play a real hockey team in the first round, instead of the second.

Sens fans would rather get run out of the building in game 5 than lose in OT in game 7.

just like they'd rather their players turtle instead of fighting back.

poor sens fans.

No. I'd rather win our first round series in convincing fashion than lose it in one of the most painful ways ever witnessed.
