So when the Leafs score on a higher % of their shots it is because of their obvious skill and the strategy employed generating a higher % of quality scoring opportunities.

But for the last decade when the Leafs goalies save % sucked donkey balls it was 100% on them and had nothing to do with the players (especially D) lack of ability or the system employed.

The shooters can control the quality of shots they take against the other 29 teams they face.

So do you think Kadri will shoot at 17% next year?

Kadri will score fewer projected goals next season (he was on pace for 31 last year but I think 20-25 is more reasonable), but he will pick up a lot more assists IMO.
