What do you expect from guys that are happy when they can manage a semi-hard erection. It's a real goal for them.

Interesting to note as well that though Subban won the Norris, the Habs fans here have been pretty well-behaved on the whole topic, as befits fans of an historic franchise with a lion's share of award and championship winners.

a) While I'd always prefer to advance to the 2nd round rather than lose in the 1st it's hardly worth bragging about. IMO making it to the 3rd round is the minimum requirement for a "successful" playoffs.

b) A Presidents trophy is huge, I actually think it's comparable to winning the Cup. Although I'd definitely prefer a Cup win.

c) Conference Championship is also a great accomplishment.

d) This is the same as "c"


Habs were the last of our teams to make the 3rd round and to finish 1st in the East.

Ya, this point makes no sense...so what? Boston and NYC just plain hate each other. Natural rivalry. Just throw in a playoff series or two and watch the fireworks. They are missing out by not putting the rangers and bruins in the same division.

Oh thank you so much for clearing that up. I was at that game. It was a tough one. The worst one for me HAS to be the one that Domi threw his head into the dasher board.

Up 2-0 in what would have been the series winner. I still can't believe that one.
 
I know...unbelievable what that guy would do for his team. I mean except that one time he tried to knock Niedermayer's head off with his elbow.
