The New Division

At this moment would rather have EK than other of dman that regularly played for Habs, Sens or Leafs last year.

Kind of insane so much arguing is going on about EK. He's ****en awesome.
 
I like EK. I don't know what the fuss is all about with Methot though.

What does Ottawa's D look like without Cowen?

I also like the fact that we could have our own (more swole) version of EK coming through the pipeline.

Ceci can't come fast enough. Defense is the only thing I am worried about going into next season.
 
Can't see that on my phone. Is that the schenn poll from beforr hot karl's rookie year? Probably.

Feel free to look up the schenn/karlsson/subban polls from after that season....the ones on hf and the ones here. Hell, i was more pro-karlsson than you were.

In a "who would you take right now?" poll in Karlsson's first year? Meh. He has a pretty well documented stance against Schenn. Far more than anyone else here actually. I don't see it as much of a "gotcha" as you do.

Oh please. They were two first year defensemen. The "right now" obviously means today and into the future.

I got the Schenn call right from day one, as well actually.
 
Jesus. I knew your were obsessed with the Leafs...didn't realize that extended to Leafs fans. Talk about keeping tabs on someone.
 
So...I go away for a bit to handle something quickly, I come back and I see the Ottawa fans still feeling that it's unreasonable to think that Karlsson is anything short of a complete legend in the making. PPG is the expectation going forward.

Ah yes, after karlsson had barely outscored schenn in 09/10. I remember. The polls after his soph season tell a different story, when i had to tell leafs fans that schenn wasn't in karlsson or subban's league. Of course, sens fans refused to admit that subban was in karlsson's class at the time, too.

But yeah, that's almost as bad as calling cowen better than kadri.

Seriously, this is the conversation we're having. You're claiming that he's destined to be a legendary first ballot HOF'er, and I'm suggesting that there are legitimate questions to doubt that. You're then acting like I'm the one being ridiculous.
