I remember arguing my dad about the matchups. He was convinced the Senators were the better team since the experts in the media said so. I told him he was stupid because the Leafs were built for the playoffs with proven goaltending and would win easily. Good times.

Too bad the Leafs this season aren't built for the playoffs - unproven goaltending with a young roster and no grizzled vets to lead the way. Maybe they'll do fine in the regular season but everyone knows the playoffs are when it counts. But you'll always have your series wins over the Sens in the '00's to cherish.

from you, yes. the sens were always way better than the Leafs, it was only lalime that prevented you from wiping the floor with us.

Who was the frigging idiot who decided that a split squad game was a good idea at the END of preseason. He needs to be fired, yesterday. Just a joke of a plan.

Ummm..da fuq? Leafs had decent (albiet not great goaltending) last playoffs, and we added Bernier who has experience. No vets?How about Mclement, Bolland, Clarkson for starters! JVR may not be a "vet" but he's shown he's clutch come playoff time.... Not sure what your rambling on about so take a seat and go cry in the corner, Leafs are back, don't like it then go suck it.

Your goaltending has a combined 8 playoff games between them. Do you really think they're proven like Cujo and Belfour were? While McClement, Bolland and Clarkson are no Gary Roberts!
