yeah its not a big flashy trade but im gonna cling to this report carlo is almost gone.

It would be a very bullish sign.

Buffalo has to trade that pick, feels like a no brainer. Lost two real important players, with a weak fa class. They need to land a big fish.

Considering Buffalo in the past 5 months have traded for Stanley, Schenn and Crevier im reasonably sure they would take Carlo in a Knies package if they are discussing 4

I hate to give pagnotta credit, but it is true that the leafs love Reid. Been hearing a lot of smoke about their scouts being obsessed with them for months (Wheeler talks to scouts on the regular and he confirmed this).

So if Reid is not there at 4 (which I don't think he will be) I could see the Leafs passing on that trade unless buffalo adds some sweeteners.
